Mega Health Camp Organized in Kurukshetra

Kurukshetra, July 21, 2024: The Naveen Jindal Foundation, in collaboration with Maharaja Agrasen Medical College, Agroha, successfully organized a mega health camp at Mahant Prabhat Puri School, Jhansa Road, Kurukshetra. The main objective of this camp was to provide free medical services to the local community and to raise awareness about health and wellness.

Highlights of the Camp

At the health camp, specialist doctors from various medical departments provided free consultations and medical services. The departments included General Medicine, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Gynecology, Pediatrics, Dermatology, TB & Chest, ENT, Ophthalmology, Dentistry, Physiotherapy, and Pharmacy. Each department offered specialized medical services as well as health-related advice and consultations.

Key Achievements

Hundreds of people participated in the health camp and availed various medical services. The following departments made significant contributions:

  • General Medicine: Consultations for common physical problems such as blood pressure, diabetes, fever, cough, and fatigue.
  • Orthopedics: Specialized consultations and treatments for bone and joint issues.
  • Gynecology: Expert consultations for women's health issues and pregnancy care.
  • Pediatrics: Special services for children's health and vaccinations.
  • Dermatology: Expert consultations and treatments for skin-related problems.
  • Nutrition: Detailed BCA (Body Composition Analysis report generated by the experts.

Guest of Honor and Appreciation

Honorable Member of Parliament, Mr. Naveen Jindal, visited the health camp and inspected the facilities. He appreciated the dedication and hard work of the doctors and medical staff of Maharaja Agrasen Medical College. Mr. Jindal said, "The organization of this health camp is a significant step towards improving the health of our community. I thank all the doctors and medical staff who played a crucial role in making this camp a success."

The event was also graced by the presence of Mr. Subhash Sudha, Minister of State (IC), Department of Urban and Local Bodies & Housing for All, Government of Haryana, and Lt. General DP Vats, Former Member of Parliament Rajya Sabha. Their participation and support further emphasized the importance of community health and collaborative efforts in promoting wellness.
