The Naveen Jindal Yashasvi Scholarship Scheme has been launched to provide financial assistance to meritorious girls from economically weaker families in the Kurukshetra parliamentary constituency. This initiative aims to support students who face financial difficulties in pursuing higher education and skill development courses.
The scholarship is available for students aged between 16 and 25 years, whose family income is less than ₹3,00,000 annually. It covers educational and vocational courses for students who have completed Class 10 and Class 12. Applicants must be residents of the Kurukshetra parliamentary constituency and must have scored at least 70% in their previous qualifying exams.
The Naveen Jindal Yashasvi Scholarship Scheme ensures that financial constraints do not hinder deserving students' education or skill development. While maintaining the criteria for selection, this scheme is designed to provide opportunities to both boys and girls, ensuring equal access to education.
Extending the scholarship to students pursuing JEE/NEET coaching after 12th standard, provided the coaching institute is located within the Kurukshetra Parliamentary Constituency and the applicant is also from Kurukshetra Parliamentary Constituency. Eligible students must have secured at least 70% in their last qualifying examination and have an family income upto INR 3,00,000 as verified by an Income Certificate or Family ID issued by the Government of Haryana. The scholarship will cover 50% of the toal coaching fees. This scholarship will continue for only one year for the applicant.
